Classy Halloween

I mentioned it before that I'm not much of a Halloween decor lover as I am a Fall decor lover. Call me crazy, but my idea of decorating does not involve creepy or gory elements. Don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against Halloween. It's a super fun holiday, and I always have a blast with family and friends doing the whole Halloween thing. We hype the boys up about their costumes, parade around the neighborhood with friends, head over to visit nearby family (to show off our costumes of course), and come home to sort through our candy by a real wood fire (often one of our firsts of the season). It's a glorious time!

So, in order to help myself to not feel like a total and complete Halloween decor snob I found some ideas and inspiration that would work for my specific tastes. I've deemed them "classy" at least regarding this specific holiday! And I would definitely use *almost all of them in my very own home.

Starting with these killer pillows! Being a professional graphic designer, anything typography pulls at my heartstrings. Gosh, and then you pair them with black & white pillows and I'm swooning. GAH! I want a spooky pillow immediately!

Parties and Halloween go together like peanut butter and jelly. Am I right? I guarantee you SOMEONE you know is having a get together, now the question is... Will they have these adorable and festive straws? Hope so!

I guess it's just hitting me that black & white is kinda a Halloween thing. How did I not realize this? I LOVE black & white together. While the pumpkin lantern pictured below isn't necessarily the classiest (still cute though), the rest of the lanterns are totally doing it for me. And the sign is charming too!

Subway art is another thing that makes the designer in me a little giddy. They also remind me of list making which instantly makes me feel organized. Win, win! This one encompasses the entire season of fall, and I love that!

I just don't even know what to say about this next one. Just look at it. COMPLETELY CUTE!

The thought of a personalized trick-or-treat bag has actually never crossed my mind before. Now my wheels are turning after seeing this sweet babies.

Inspired by Pottery Barn, but SO much cheaper on GroopDealz, these pumpkins are the epitome of classy!

And lastly, this is obviously not home decor, but this scarf caught my eye. I think it would be a fun way to be festive without having to go all out with a full blown costume. I'm still contemplating this purchase. Wondering if I might scare myself every time I glance in the mirror while wearing it?

By the way, ALL of these items are available at GroopDealz, which if you don't know what that is you should definitely check their website out. It's similar to Zulily in the sense that items are heavily discounted and only listed for a short period of time -- meaning act fast if you want to purchase anything AND check back often for new goodies!  If you are visiting for the first time you have to create an account to continue into the site to see their products. They have awesome stuff! Not just home decor either, but also cute clothes, accessories, kid's stuff, and more. I've already bought some photography props and headbands for when the baby comes.

How do you all feel about Halloween decorating. Do you like to stay classy or go all out? I will say, the "go all out" homes are rather impressive and always eye catching!
