Rainy Day Online Shopping

It's raining and gloomy in my neck of the woods, but I love it. Rainy days are a good excuse to stay at home and relax. I've been doing a lot of snuggling with my boys, relaxing on the couch watching movies, and satisfying my pregnancy cravings.

I had a small window of alone time yesterday, so I curled up with a blanket and did some online shopping.  I realllllllly want to find a headboard for the master bedroom. Remember my dilemma? I missed out on the Labor Day sale and my mattress & box springs are still sitting on my floor.

I saw this headboard today on the Wayfair website, and now I'm completely rethinking my plan.
Isn't it stunning!? Another tempting aspect is the price-- It's not expensive at all (especially for the high end look). GULP! Decisions, decisions.

I'm leaning more in this direction for a few reasons. One being that I think it will contrast well up against our gray accent wall. Two, I'm fond of the linen look and think that it offers a slight country charm while still pulling off a sophisticated vibe.

Any opinions?

Here are some other rainy day finds from Wayfair that I'm crushing on...
Nautical Plaid Yarn Dyed Bolster Pillow
Artificial Fern Desk Top Plant in Fishbowl Decorative Vase Base Color: Black

Tabitha Acrylic Throw Color: Red, Tan, Brown, Chocolate, White

Indre Plaid Pillow
Nearly Natural Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree in Pot

Small Accent Stool (Set of 2) Finish: Antique Linen

Umm, do these get you as excited as they get me? I've been on a plant kick ever since I updated my flower pot, but this girl knows her limits. I'd love to get a tall tree for my room (and really my office too!) but I know better.  For me, it'd be better to invest in a faux version. I like any tree that has a long trunk section with the leaves at the top -- so of course the ever popular fiddle leaf fig works. I'm also a sucker for ferns -- always a classic! Loving the plaid pillows for fall and winter. I think it could work with the new bedding too since it's a quilt.

I'm envisioning my master bedroom retreat as I type. Oh wait, but first that bed frame and headboard... I better get on that huh?

Daydreaming...  sure makes for a great rainy day.
