Over the weekend we had the first of 3 Christmas celebrations. The event took place in our home, as we hosted for my side of the family which includes my Mom and sister, Natalie. We also invited my cousin who lives here for college. It's super low key which is good for me and definitely good practice for the next two celebrations.
Kasen crying, Koah with his toy and looking away. It's perfect, right?
That's me and my sister. Natalie is my only sibling. She is twelve years younger than me, but I swear the older she gets the closer in age we feel. In case you didn't know, I'm not aging... maybe I'll write a blog post about it one day. Let you in on my secrets... Ha, I wish!
Here is one of the whole clan. My Mom on the far left, sister, cousin (Danny), me, my hubs, and then our two boys in the front. Wow... they are actually looking! Good job, boys!
We have taken a group picture like the one above every year. Yay for traditions!!! So far that totals three pictures 2011, 2012, and this year. I think it will be fun to see how we all {except for me ;)} change over the years, especially the boys.
We had an appetizer (which spoiled our dinner, so we skipped dinner... for real, I didn't even make anything). Then we did gifts. With such a small group we each took turns opening all of our gifts at once. The kids started and (somehow) I was last to go. And after gifts we head down to the basement to pig out and play games. So, pretty much a lot of snacking and laughing. Good times.
Looks like you're all having a lot of fun!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Restoration Beauty to wish me Merry Christmas! That was so sweet!
