My Friday Night

Well friends, it's Friday night and I'm in go mode. I've got my spoon with me and we are finishing off the last of the Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream -- the good stuff and straight out of the carton. The hubs needed a chill evening after a busy work week, so that basically means I get to have some me time and I'm not complaining.

Tonight I will be prepping my camera for some weekend photos.

And window shopping online at some of my favorite stores. In other words, fueling my decorating fire. A good thing, I promise.

A girl has got to have a plan, a vision, a dream.

Speaking of a girl, my niece got engaged!

Yesterday evening we went to her engagement party (which was a surprise).
It was in a barn! Neat, right?

I didn't take very many pictures, and of course the only people shots I got were blurry (see above), but I thought I'd share them anyway. 

It's amazing what a few charming lights can do for a space. Think I need some of these on my deck this spring? I think so too.
